Stage 1  Micro Screen Mesh Filter,Removes particulates and other contaminants.

Stage 2  Granular Activated Coconut Carbon,Granular Activated Coconut Carbon charcoal filters are effective in chlorine reduction and taste & odor improvement. This carbon layer is also effective for the reduction of herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, trihalomenthanes (THM's), heavy metals, organic chemicals, and particulates.

Stage 3  Tourmaline Mineral Layer,This stage reduces heavy metals including lead, nickel, cadmium, and mercury, through an ion exchange process.

Stage 4   pH Enhancing Minerals - Highly porous mineral stones infuse ionized minerals into the water that aid in oxygenation and alkalinity. The mineral ions are encased in diatomaceous earth and add calcium, magnesium, and other trace minerals to fortify the water and increase the pH.

Stage 5   Non-Woven Membrane Filter Media,A final barrier to contaminants and particulates to insure fresh, great-tasting water.
