Applica encourages parents and guardians to monitor and participate in their children's online activities. No information should be submitted to this site by users under 13 years of age, and users under 13 years old are not allowed to register for newsletters, clubs or activities. Users under 18 years of age are not allowed to make purchases or participate in contests. Where appropriate, Applica may ask you to indicate your age to verify compliance with these policies. Sales Tax
Applica Consumer Products, Inc. is required by law to collect sales tax in the states in which we have office locations. They are as follows; Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin. Any applicable tax on your order is automatically calculated at checkout time.
Security
Safety - Applica Consumer Products, Inc. uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure your safety. It encrypts your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet.
Credit Card Liability
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Shipping
Most shipments will be delivered to our customers living in the continental US within seven days or less and to our customers in Alaska and Hawaii within 14 days or less upon receipt of order.
Please note that, unfortunately, we cannot ship to Post Office (PO) boxes at this time.
Orders outside the U.S. - Applica Consumer Products, Inc. currently ships to all of the United States except U.S. territories. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Returns
You can return any product for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase if you are not completely satisfied. All items must be returned in their original condition, with the original packaging, manuals and accessories.

Cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged in delivery or shipped in error.
Warranties
Applica Consumer Products, Inc. warrants the Clear2O™ water filtration pitcher and replacement filters against defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a ninety day period after the original date of consumer purchase or receipt as a gift. This warranty does not include damage to the product resulting from accident or misuse. If the product should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair it or elect to replace it free of charge. This warranty gives you specific legal rights which vary from state to state or province to province.
