1. Removing the cardboard from the pitcher.
2. Installing the filter.
3. Connecting the Clear.

1. Removing the cardboard from the pitcher:

			1. Pull the faucet connector and quick-connect hose out from storage compartment on the pitcher handle.
			2. Using your index finger, lift the filter lid to open.
			3. Grasp the top bar on the filter and pull it straight up to disengage the lid assembly from the pitcher.
			4. Remove cardboard and reattach lid.

2. Installing the filter :

			1. Using your index finger, lift the filter lid to open
			2. Turn the bar on the filter counterclockwise to the (unlocked symbol) position
			3. Pull out old filter and discard, remove the new filter from packing film and insert into pitcher
			4. Turn the bar clockwise to the (locked symbol) position . Be sure filter is locked in place

3. Connecting the Clear₂O Aerator :

		If your faucet has an aerator, unscrew it as shown to either the left or right. (your aerator may look different) . <-- OR -->
		Connect the wide end of the Clear₂O aerator onto the faucet as shown to the left if you have threading on the outside of your faucet, otherwise continue to the next step
		Try the adapter to connect onto faucet . If it is not the right size then try the other adapter .
		Once you have the right size adapter, screw onto faucet
		To tighten adapter in place, insert a quarter into the bottom slots of adapter and turn then remove the quarter
		Once adapter is secure, screw the wide end of the Clear₂O aerator onto adapter with permanent rubber washer in place.
